Lynnette's Twirlerettes is Marching into their 29th Season and is conveniently located in 4 counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania, that's 4 different divisions to choose from...

Carbondale in Lackawanna County, Forest City in Susquehanna County, Pittston, Luzerne County and Lake Ariel in Wayne County.

Organized in 1983, Lynnette's Twirlerettes, a State and Regional Championship group has traveled and performed extensively across the eastern portion of the United States, Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas' and the Netherlands Antilles Islands in the Caribbean.

Travel performances include the Miss America parade on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, Salem Mass. Haunted Happenings Parade, Walt Disney World- Florida, the Naval Dockyard in Bermuda, Caribbean Island of St Maarten, Nassau Bahamas. Inner Harbor, Baltimore, Virginia Beach, Cape Cod-Massachusetts, Niagara Falls-Canada, Holiday Bowl-San Diego California, The Liberty Bowl-Tennessee, Universal Studios-Florida, Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas Cruiseship, Marineland-Canada, SeaWorld-Florida, Busch Gardens-Virginia, the Peach Bowl-Georgia, Ocean City-Maryland, Six Flags Amusement Park-New Jersey, Dutch Wonderland-Lancaster along with many more local sites. 

Lynnette Lepre-Van Deusen, Director is a licensed teacher and judge with several twirling organizations, has over 38 years of twirling, modeling and pageant experience, has judged Miss America Preliminary pageants in the state of Pennsylvania, has held titles, judged and been a regional director for the Miss Hemisphere system and has spoken to other judges at Miss Pennsylvania's Judge's School on how to judge this sport.

 


Lynnette has served as the twirling halftime choreographer for the 2011 Alamo Bowl in San Antonio-Texas, the 2009 Holiday Bowl in San Diego-California and the 2007 Liberty Bowl in Memphis-Tennessee.

Students are taught basic baton twirls, dance twirls, pom pon routines, show teams, marching, parade routines, teams exchanges and basic gymnastic moves.

Beginners through advanced levels are offered. Baton twirling offers a wealth of self-esteem, confidence, poise, grace, teamwork, and a lifetime of friendships and memories.

Lynnette's Twirlerettes is known for it's warm family environment it has created with students and their families for the past two and a half decades, it's also known for it's fun non performing activities throughout the year including an adult golf tournament, summer family outing, Oktoberfest, Haunted Hayrides, Semi-formal student holiday party and a winter iced golf tournament.

All students are offered the opportunity to perform in local parades, competitions, summer performances, travel performances and our annual recital.  Opportunities are offered to all with no obligations, no registration fee and you can pick and choose what you'd like to participate in.
